Back in October (2004) while listening to a local organic gardening program on the radio, I found out about Bruce Deuley's compact compost tea maker. The radio host had attended The Texas Tea-Off which was held in conjunction with the presentation of Dr Elaine Ingham's course to learn how to evaluate and test your own compost tea. Apparently there was some confusion with the rules but in the end, this tea maker did brew some excellent tea. It compared favorably with much more expensive tea makers. In fact this design produced better tea than some of the professionals had been making. During the course of the course the professionals learned better ways to make their tea, so now the only real difference between this tea maker and the professional models is the cost.
